RNS Institute of Technology

The RNS Institute of Technology (RNIST), Bangalore was established in the year 2001. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and has approval from AICTE. The college offers UG programs – CSE, ECE, ISE, EIE and EEE. The institute was established by the Murudeshwar Group of Companies. RNS Institute of Technology is an engineering and technology college and it is the brainchild of the Group Chairman, Dr. R.N. Shetty. Several educational institutions are run by the R. N. Shetty Trust, with RNSIT one amongst them. 

Location 

The college is located at Dr Vishnuvardhana Road Post, Channasandra, RR Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is about 47 km away from the Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, and about 13 km away from the Bengaluru City Junction Railway Station. Raja Rajeshwari Nagar BMTC Bus Depot is about one km from the institute.

Admission Process 

B.Tech  

Students will have to apply and appear for the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Exam. 

After the scores and rank list has been published, Students must participate in a centralized counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment. 

Students must register and apply online on the college website. 

Final admission will be offered to students based on the choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process. 

M.Tech 

Through Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)  

Students will have to apply and appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). 

GATE scores are also accepted by RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore. 

Further, Students who have qualified the entrance exam have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment. 

Final admission will be offered to students based on the merit, choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process.
