Rajarajeswari medical college came into being in 2005. The foundation was laid by Moongambigai Charitable and Educational Trust. This trust was founded by the chairman Dr. A C Shanmugam B.A., L.L.B., FIMSA, FRCPS. Soon it got its approval from the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It also got its affiliation from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Ever since its inception, the goal of this institute is to provide health care needs to everyone and even the unreached sections of the society. Eligibility and fee structure
If you want to study MBBS in Rajarajeswari medical college, you must qualify the following eligibility criteria
- You must score at least 50% in physics, chemistry, biology in 12th grade
- Your age must be at least 17 years for the current academic year as of December 31
- Clear NEET entrance exam
The fee for MBBS undergraduate program is Rs.99,455/- per year.
For the MD or MS program, the admission is done based on the NEET PG score. Moreover, you must clear MBBS with at least 50%.
To be eligible for a Ph.D. course in Rajarajeswari medical college, you must score at least 55% in your master’s. If you are eligible for the same, the admission will be based on your score in UGC NET. After the entrance exam, you should be able to acquire a seat in the college through counselling.
