M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) was started in 1962 by Late Dr. M S Ramaiah, The Founder Chairman, philanthropist, and a pioneer in creating several landmark infrastructure projects in India. Due to the shortage of talented engineering professionals required to build a modern India, Dr. M S Ramaiah envisioned MSRIT as an institute of excellence imparting quality and affordable education. It is a Part of Gokula Education Foundation and has grown over the years with significant contributions from various professionals. MSRIT was granted Autonomous Status by Visvesvaraya Technological University in the year 2007 for both UG and PG Programs and the same was approved by UGC also.

Admission Process 

For B.Tech :- 

Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process 

Students must apply and appear for (CET) Conducted by the Government of Karnataka. 

Then have to Participate in the Counselling Process for Choice Filling and Seat Allotment. 

Students have to Register and Apply online on the College Website. 

Final Admission will be offered to Students based on the Choice Filling, Document Verification and Fee Payment during the Counselling Process. 

COMEDK and Selection Process :- 

Students must Apply and Appear for the (COMEDK) Exam. 

After the Rank List has been Published, Students have to Participate in a Centralised Counselling Process for Choice Filling and Seat Allotment. 

Final Admission will be offered to Students based on the Choice Filling, Document Verification and fee Payment during the Counselling Process. 

For MBA :- 

Students must apply and appear for the PGCET/CMAT/KMAT/MAT. 

Students who have Qualified the Entrance Exam have to Participate in the Counselling Process for Choice Filling and Seat Allotment. 

Final Admission will be Offered to Students based on the Choice Filling, Document Verification and Fee Payment during the Counselling Process. 

For B.Arch :- 

Students must Appear and Score minimum of 40% marks in NATA. 

Students have to Register and Apply online on the website of the College. 

Admission will be based on the merit of marks secured in NATA. 

Shortlisted Students will be offered Admission on the basis of merit, Document Verification and Fee Payment. 

For MCA :- 

Students must apply and appear for the PGCET/KMAT. 

Students who have qualified the entrance exam have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.

For M.Tech :- 

Students must apply and appear for the GATE/PGCET.
