AMC Engineering College

AMC Engineering College was established by the Paramahamsa Foundation Trust. It is approved by the (AICTE) and accredited by the (NBA). It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The college offers B.E programs in Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Information Science, Electrical and Electronics and Civil. It also offers M.Tech programs in Computer Science, Digital Electronics & Communication, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Power Systems Engineering and Machine Design. The college offers MBA in Marketing, Finance, HR and Systems and MCA program of two years and three years. The vision and Mission follow a unique way of strategy to give standardized and good quality of knowledge which would lead the student to reach out their goals and objectives. Every person in the college would accept and work for the institutions keeping our vision and mission at the top. AMC Engineering College is located at 18th K.M, Kalkere, Bannerghatta Main Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560083. It is about 78 km away from the Kempegowda International Airport and about 34 km from the Bengaluru City Junction Railway Station. The college is about 8 km from the BMTC Bus Depot.

Admission Process 

Admission process for B.E programs: 

The Students need to appear for Karnataka CET/ (COMEDK) 

In the second process, they must appear for the counselling and give preference to AMC. 

The merit list will be prepared accordingly the weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in KCET/COMEDK and preferences to the courses and colleges. 

The seat will be allotted to the Students in the counselling rounds. 

As per the allotment, students need to visit the AMC and complete the admission process. 

Admission process for M.Tech programs: 

M.Tech aspirants must qualify for the Karnataka PGCET or GATE. 

Students who have a valid score of PGCET or GATE must register for counselling, which is conducted by (KEA). 

They must visit the facilitation Centre for documents verification. 

They also need to complete the choice filling and lock their choices of colleges and courses in order of their preference.  

The final merit list will be prepared accordingly the weightage to percentile obtained by the Students in PGCET, preferences to the courses and colleges and counselling. 

The seat will be allotted to the Students in the counselling rounds.

Admission process for the M.B.A: 

Students need to appear for the National or State level Management Entrance Exam viz, (KMAT) or CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA or CMAT. 

Counselling is conducted based on the ranking in the entrance examination. 

Final selection is based on the merit list which is prepared after the counselling procedure. 

Admission process for the M.C.A: 

Admission is based on the qualifying exam.
